Responsibility

  • work within the Histology hub to support workflows and the Histology Specialist
  • main responsibilities include tissue processing, embedding and sectioning both FFPE and cryo, and section staining
  • responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of lab equipment and participate in stock management
  • ordering of Hub consumables
  • support Hub maintenance and housekeeping
  • sample tracking and record keeping
  • develop hub workflows alongside Hub members, Managers and Scientific Operations teams
  • coordinate workflows across teams
