Responsibility
- responsible for preparation of the quarterly group consolidation for review by the Lead Financial Officer, Asset Management, within the quarter-end timetable
- managing relationships with key stakeholders within the Asset Management business
- preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for transactional entities and JV/Associate partners
- to conduct first review of team monthly and quarterly management accounts, communicating issues to the businesses and finance team
- to assist the Lead Financial Officer with preparation of the consolidated annual group budget
- assist with preparation of quarterly Board papers for escalation to Group CFO and MD
- assist with the preparation and review of the Group FCA returns on a quarterly/bi-annual basis and preparation of Group ICAAP
- assist with preparation of year-end information for external audit and to be the main point of contact with external auditors for queries on several entities
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant – essential
- experience with preparing management accounts - essential
- proven multitasking experience, working with multiple tight Group Reporting deadlines
- proven experience in the Financial Services Industry preferably in real estate or private equity
- experience of multi-currency environment
- experience in preparation of financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS & US GAAP
- SAGE package experience including production of reports and interrogation preferable
- can do solutions-based approach to solving problems
