ALS MANAGED SERVICES is looking for employees for positions:
driver
Requirements
- must hold a Class 2 licence, CPC and Digital Drivers Card
- experience or ability to undertake regular vehicle checks including oil, water and battery levels
- experience or ability to demonstrate suitability for physical work involving pushing/pulling waste bins and lifting recycling boxes up to 25kg
- the ability to understand and complete daily defect sheets
- class 2 driving licence
- good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- must hold a valid CPC certificate
- the ability to work independently and to use own initiative
Responsibility
- responsible to ensure route completion and tasks are completed to clients , required standards
- to use mobile IT equipment and to complete daily paperwork as appropriate
- undertake any training / instruction required to carry out these duties and or deemed necessary to fulfil the role
- maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles and equipment to a high standard, including daily vehicle checks on any vehicle driven
- to deal with colleagues, customers and other non – Client personnel in a polite, responsible and professional manner
- to drive / operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and legal requirements and as required by the company in accordance with the valid licence, experience and training for that vehicle / equipment
- tipping of vehicle at designated and approved refuse facility and to load and unload waste materials in accordance with clients policy, procedures, training and legal requirements, complying with all health and safety requirements
- to comply with all client reporting procedures
