- interviewing/recruitment as necessary
- managing of reception rotas to ensure sufficient staffing levels
- liaising with other departmental managers to ensure smooth and streamlined workflow within the practice
- continually assess and evaluate reception systems and protocols, recommending changes and improvements
- ensure all CQC guidance is followed within the reception area
- ensure reception team members are up to date with mandatory training requirements
- dealing with complaints in accordance with the practice complaints policy
- suggest and organise team building activities
