Responsibility
- all About YOU are pleased to announce that we are further expanding our support work team, with cross-functional vacancies across both our Adult Social Care & Children’s Services departments
- as a member of our team, you will be required to work within both of our core departments, providing all our service users – regardless of age or need – with life-enriching care
- our Adult Social Care team provide day-centre based activities for those aged 18+ with additional support needs, with our Children’s Services team providing short-breaks respite for those aged 8-18, from across the entire Sheffield region
- undertake other duties as deemed appropriate, necessary and within the scope of the job role
Requirements
- safety & supervision of all service users within session
- providing an exceptional standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all service users
- aid service users with eating & drinking, including the application of personal diet & texture limitations as required
- provide assistance to service users in the administration of medication where required
- make educated, thought-out assessments that balance risk with reference to age-appropriate activities, behaviour, and materials
- support Work: 1 year
- engage with and contribute to reflective practice, team meetings and extensive record-keeping for all sessions
- disability Support Work: 1 year
