The job offer seeks a Forklift Operator to join a busy team in Dundord. The company is family-owned and operates various activities in civil engineering, demolition, quarrying, waste management, cleaning services, and analytical chemistry. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts on a monthly basis. The pay rate is £11.50 per hour.
In order to apply, the candidates must hold a valid Forklift or Telehandler licence along with other licences such as the 360 Excavator licence and a full clean driving licence. The successful candidate should be able to work outdoors in different weather conditions and have good knowledge of preventative maintenance. Previous experience in a waste/recycling environment is considered desirable.
However, it would be helpful to know if the company provides any training or support for obtaining additional licences or if they have opportunities for career advancement within their various fields of operation. Additionally, could someone provide more information on the type of work involved in site mobile plant tasks?
