Responsibility
- we have an exciting opportunity to join our Building Services Sales team as a Technical Specification Consultant
- reporting into the Specification Development Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing compliant solutions with Aliaxis products for residential and commercial building projects
- develop and maintain in depth knowledge of market and sectors, especially relating to market trends, opportunities, threats, and competitors’ activities; and providing appropriate communication and direction to internal departments
Requirements
- proven track record in a similar technical specification consultative role
- deep technical understanding in current building regulations and relevant accreditations
- experience in specifying solutions working for a manufacturer or distributor within the construction industry
- experience in facilitating opportunities within a team to achieve their strategy goals and sales targets
- ability to identify new business opportunities and create technically compliant specifications and secure business through this method
- ability to read, understand and interpret technical design details and drawings
- strong IT skills including the management and usage of a CRM system
- sound knowledge of the key influencers within the construction industry
