- identify areas of concern for Passive Fire Protection, including batt and mastic, fire boards, cavity barriers, and fire doors
- write reports using specialised software to recommend improvements needed to ensure compliance with Passive Fire Protection standards
- assist and provide technical advice to the estimating and project delivery teams
- conduct quality work inspections
- travel to various sites across the UK, including commercial offices, healthcare facilities, hotels, residential buildings, etc
- perform regular site visits and maintain customer engagement to ensure projects run smoothly according to schedules, including proactive problem-solving
Requirements
- you should have at least 3 years of experience in Passive Fire Protection or related construction disciplines
- you must be able to read technical specifications and drawings to extract and interpret relevant information for construction tasks
- excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication are essential. You should demonstrate outstanding written, telephone, and face-to-face communication skills
- strong analytical skills are necessary for assessing complex fire safety risks
- good computer literacy skills are essential
- familiarity with fire stopping materials, products, and installation techniques is required
- A driving license is a requirement for the role
- A minimum NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection is required
