Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- manage, supervise and mentor staff; organise work patterns and training, and conduct and record regular supervisions and appraisals
- work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure the home goes over and above in providing exceptional care
- to manage resources effectively, including budgets, buildings and equipment
- to manage the residential home and ensure excellent operation of service in accordance. with relevant legislation, procedures, policies and the homes Statement of Purpose
- take the lead in ensuring an open culture is created, one in which children feel that they are listened to in a supportive and positive environment
Requirements
- previous registered manager experience with a track record of Ofsted inspections
- level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential children’s services
- experience of managing a staff team and managing staff rotas
- A commitment to delivering high quality care
- the manager will provide excellent levels of care to ensure that our young people have the best possible life chances
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- calm, approachable manner, adaptable and non-judgemental
- full UK driving license
