Responsibility
- conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams for Alchemy Arts
- develop a commercial strategy for the company, including pricing strategies and sales processes
- build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, and act as the main point of contact for all commercial activities
- manage the sales process, from initial enquiry through to contract negotiation and closure
- collaborate with the wider team to develop project proposals and respond to tender opportunities
- ensure that all commercial activities are delivered within budget and to a high standard
- provide regular updates to senior management on commercial activities and progress towards targets
- attend relevant networking events and conferences to identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients and partners
Requirements
- proven experience in a similar commercial role, ideally within the arts and culture sector
- excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines
- A strong understanding of commercial and financial principles, including experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and take calculated risks
- A passion for the arts and culture sector, and a commitment to Alchemy Arts' mission and values
