- working in a firm providing CFO support to Academies for a minimum of 2 years
- use of education-specific software or willing to learn
- managed client relationship and been the first point of contact
- conducted internal audit assignments
- completing ESFA Returns or willing to learn
- preparing limited company accounts, and dealing with VAT/client queries
Responsibility
- attending board and finance committee meetings
- managing client relations and being the client’s primary contact
- attending /exhibiting at education-targeted events
- liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure the smooth running of the process including dealing with audit issues raised
- complete internal audit recommendations and findings reports
- prepare internal audit plan documents
- manage and review internal audit work
- staying up to date with safeguarding practices in schools
