Responsibility
- perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned by workshop controller
- diagnose and troubleshoot both mechanical & electrical issues using up to date vehicle
- we are a highly regarded Land Rover independent specialist based in Holton, near Halesworth, we are seeking 2 vehicle technicians to work in our modern growing workshop
- the right candidate will need to be enthusiastic and want to work on Land Rover & Jaguar vehicles including all the latest models
- tasks will include servicing, all major repairs including replacing engine & transmission units, diagnostics using manufacturers approved diagnostic equipment, air conditioning system gassing & repairs, wheel alignment, gearbox flushing
- provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering
- collaborate with service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of
Requirements
- strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle systems
- proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks
- knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform electrical repairs
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
