Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in a science / technical field such as Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering or relevant experience
  • proven broad experience in either the pharmaceutical operations environment or pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
  • can demonstrate experience working cross-functionally and managing significant improvement initiatives
  • strong demonstrated knowledge of cGMPs, Quality Systems and the pharmaceutical supply chain environment including strong understanding of industry standards such as Pharmacopeia, ISO standards, etc

  • george Higginson is currently searching for a highly experienced Clinical Project Lead for a clinical-stage Biotech, specialising in Dermatology/Rheumatology. They currently have x2 compounds in Phase 3 clinical trials
  • the Clinical Project Lead acts on behalf of the sponsor supervising all aspects of Clinical Trial activities for the sponsored clinical studies
  • the Clinical Project Lead is accountable for achieving successful delivery of clinical development activities at the project level by meeting company and regulatory requirements according to scope, quality and time
  • proactively manage all aspects of Clinical Trial Team including CRO/vendor selection, contract negotiation, and review and approval of invoice, managing drug supply forecast, developing appropriate SOPs to ensure trial conduction in compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing clinical operations related training to the clinical team
  • lead sponsor study start-up process, including but not limited to conduct of the Trial Kick-off meeting, the set-up of trial master file , site selection and finalisation of site and vendor Clinical Trial Agreements and budgets
  • ensure effective project plans are in place and operational for each trial and work proactively with the Clinical Trial Team to set priorities in accordance with applicable project plans, company standard operational procedures , ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements
