  • teaching within the school curriculum and keeping up to date with any changes to exam boards etc
  • planning lessons
  • setting homework and marking. Providing feedback to the individual student
  • leading up to the exams, we expect our tutors to cover past exam papers and exam techniques

Education

  • A-Level or equivalent

Requirements

  • conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times
  • good communication skills are essential
  • time management
  • experience in tutoring is advantageous
  • studying at university or graduated in a subject relevant to what is being taught . However, if you have completed your A-Levels in the subject being taught, then that is also acceptable
  • the job requires an individual to be flexible as timetables can change depending on the time of the year
