  • making sure vehicles are roadworthy and serviced, arranging repairs and routine maintenance
  • ensuring that work is priced so that it can be done profitably
  • making sure that company vehicles are loaded safely and not overloaded
  • liaising with third party warehouse foreman and team
  • ensuring that all drivers have the correct and up to date CPC qualifications and a valid driving licence prior to driving a company vehicle
  • organising local around the clock shunting

Requirements

  • transport management for a freight forwarding business: 1 year
  • driver and transport team management: 1 year
