public relations director
Responsibility
- designing and implementing a targeted government relations strategy
- support AIUK in gaining external investment and subsidies where relevant for innovative developments in sustainable products and/or manufacturing
- engage in local advocacy and communications with key government officials and associations to advance Aggregate Industries broader government relations strategy
- position AIUK as a leader and partner on government investments in infrastructure, energy transformation, carbon capture technology and sustainable building materials
- provide support for business operations through engaging with local officials and offering potential work-force development programs
- identifying risks and opportunities utilising our agency and trade association membership to monitor and circulate public affairs updates including political intelligence and regulatory changes
- coordinate with internal stakeholders from relevant functions including Sustainability, Strategy, Marketing, Human Resources and key business divisions
- keeping internal stakeholders up to date on key matters across UK and international markets and understand their relevance and impact to allow the business to plan appropriately and host regular briefings with our Executive Committee and CEO
