Responsibility
- undertake servicing, repair, dismantling, and rebuilding of heavy plant machinery, including mobile crushers, screeners, stackers, trommels, and shredders
- perform fault diagnosis on hydraulic and 24 VDC electrical systems of heavy plant machinery
- utilise technical expertise and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- conduct fitting, welding, and fabrication tasks as required, adhering to safety guidelines and industry standards
- operate workshop machinery and equipment to support maintenance, repair, and fabrication activities
- assist in inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels of necessary components and supplies
- take personal responsibility for Health and Safety at work, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
- perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the line manager, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the workshop
