Responsibility
- create clear part, assembly and installation drawings, layouts and instructions for use by both internal departments and third-party contractors
- complete order administration for new products, generating item codes and BOMs on the company ERP software
- manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- work effectively with other teams
- training provided for producing CNC programs for our in-house equipment and the completion of production administration and documentation
- participate in the procurement of materials and resources to complete projects
- critically analyse the existing product range to drive ongoing product development
- design, development and research of new products, materials and finishes to enhance, complement, and expand our range
Requirements
- exceptional attitude, drive, and passion for design
- excellent verbal and visual communication with colleagues and clients
- ability to work in a high-pressure environment to tight deadlines
- experienced 3D parametric software user
- experienced 2D draughting software user
- familiarity with BS EN 1176 Children’s Playground Equipment safety standards is desirable
- autodesk Inventor: 1 year
- educated in product design or related discipline to degree level, or equivalent by experience
