- produce detailed proposals for events including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets
- research suppliers, contractors, and venues then negotiate price and hire
- manage and coordinate suppliers and event logistics
- liase with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event
- manage pre-event planning and organise entertainment, speakers and bands
- co-ordinate suppliers, contractors and troubleshoot at the event to ensure the event runs smoothly and to budget
- manage event staff and provide briefings
- organise facilities for parking, traffic, security, first aid, hospitality, and media
