Responsibility

  • establishing a positive working relationship with the school’s SAFE Champion
  • pre-programme information-gathering from school and participants
  • sending out well-written weekly instructor and school session joining information
  • facilitating the positive integration of young people with SEN and/or behavioural difficulties within the programme
  • adhering to AE policies and procedures in respect of safeguarding young people
  • to oversee the safety and running of the delivery session as a whole, utilising instructor expertise for specific activities
  • to work alongside youth mentors and activity instructors to deliver high quality sessions
  • establishing positive relationships with all young people; supporting and enabling them to increase their confidence and realise their potential, and fully including them into all programme activities

  • this is a fixed term role due to finish in April 2025
