Responsibility
- establishing a positive working relationship with the school’s SAFE Champion
- pre-programme information-gathering from school and participants
- sending out well-written weekly instructor and school session joining information
- facilitating the positive integration of young people with SEN and/or behavioural difficulties within the programme
- adhering to AE policies and procedures in respect of safeguarding young people
- to oversee the safety and running of the delivery session as a whole, utilising instructor expertise for specific activities
- to work alongside youth mentors and activity instructors to deliver high quality sessions
- establishing positive relationships with all young people; supporting and enabling them to increase their confidence and realise their potential, and fully including them into all programme activities
