- managing crowds and queues
- patrolling inside and outside of the building/venue
- to supervise and direct the Door Supervisor team in their duties to provide adequate cover in all areas of the venue
- observing people and identifying suspicious behaviour then dealing with it accordingly
- responding to alarms and emergencies
- when or if an incident occurs you must co-operate with the police, first aiders and management
- checking identification when necessary
- head Door Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the deployment and service delivery of their team, in addition to maintaining the safety and security of customers and staff in venues
