Responsibility

  • you will report directly to the Sales Manager
  • plan and carry out sales activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales
  • review and make recommendations to optimize sales, protecting and growing existing business while establishing new accounts
  • maintain and develop existing and new customers through regular account visits
  • maintain opportunity tracking through active funnel management
  • as an Account Manager you are responsible for achieving and exceeding the quarterly - and annual Sales quota in your assigned region
  • develop ideas and build offers for digital demand generation marketing – actively follow-up and track leads that are generated by marketing
  • supervise and report on activities and provide relevant management information

Requirements

  • minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience in the medical device market. Experienced in selling capital goods and consumables
  • experience in interacting with stakeholders in the sterilization, hospital hygiene or operating room fields
  • understanding of medical devices would be preferred but is not exclusive
  • experience with FBS/Lean operation principles of continuous improvement is preferred
  • strong communication skills and the ability to use them at several organizational levels
  • flexible. Able and willing to travel if the need emerges
