Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • responsible for controlling stock levels and the timely ordering of stock to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock
  • compare items received against items ordered, ensuring stock received is recorded on to the stock management system
  • responsible for performing monthly stock takes at our head office and warehouse facility
  • assess month end stock take count at our facilities along with stock held by a 3rd party
  • investigate and resolve discrepancies/inaccuracies in reported quantities
  • work with the warehouse operative to ensure proper arrangement and storage of stock for optimum efficiency
  • reduce damaged stock, obsolete stock and write off’s, compiling reports of damages to management
  • ensure the efficiency and integrity of the stock management system
