- ensure all incoming goods, are inspected, checked, counted, booked in and assigned to the relevant location
- process and check incoming deliveries against the requirements of the PO and delivery notes
- liaise with the Buyer & external suppliers re shortages and defects in a timely manner, to ensure that replacements are sourced
- ADS Laser is a family run business and is the premier metal laser cutting, precision folding, fabricating and finishing company in the U.K
- ensure cycle counts and stock are caried out
Requirements
- in addition, to ensure that outgoing items are dispatched on time, in line with customer specifications and company standards
- proven management / supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
- extensive knowledge of dispatch / goods in standard operating procedures
- organised, resilient, energetic, proactive, and results driven
- ability to read engineering drawings
- clear communicator with good influencing and motivational skills
- the role is to manage the Goods In & Dispatch process to ensure that all incoming items are inspected, checked, counted, booked in and assigned to the relevant location
- good attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy & a commitment to quality
