- to establish and maintain positive, nurturing relationships with our young people, always providing an ideal model of behaviour and conduct
- to take appropriate action in line with ASHS' policies and procedures to safeguard young people from harm and protect their welfare
- to follow ASHS' safeguarding policy and procedures, referring any concern in relation to child protection to the appropriate manager immediately
- to carry out appropriate checks on all visitors to the property and ensure relevant records are completed
- to maintain data confidentiality by adhering to ASHS' data protection policies
- to provide a positive, welcoming and homely environment for our young people, supporting them in undertaking domestic duties in the home when necessary
- to complete all relevant records relating to your shift in a timely manner, ensuring they are clear, accurate and appropriately detailed
- to ensure that our young people's paperwork and records are up to date, if appropriate
