Responsibility
- the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bar, overseeing the restaurant operations and leading the banqueting team
- responsible for the day-to-day running of the bar, restaurant and banqueting team
- ensure the cellar management is carried out effectively
- manage, supervise and train staff in accordance with industry best practices to deliver high-quality guest experience
- implement and maintain procedures that meet safety regulations and ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained
- we are looking for a skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team here at the Humber Royal Hotel
- manage stock rotation, order supplies and monitor inventory levels
- with a focus on high standards and quality services, it will be a crucial role within our hotels food and beverage department
Requirements
- experienced in hotel food and beverage operations, with knowledge of bar, restaurant and banqueting operations
- excellent problem solving skills and ability to use initiative
- must have effective communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
