technician
Responsibility
- prototype electronic assemblies and devices in accordance with suitable guidance and/or documentation from engineers
- assemble and connect system components
- build prototype models based on technical guidelines
- rework circuit boards
- repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures
- read and comprehend technical manuals and diagrams
- support colleagues across the R&D team with technical tasks and testing requirements
- use various tools to build and repair systems
Requirements
- proactive, results driven focus with the ability to identify and troubleshoot potential problems to their successful resolution
- experience in electronics and PCB assembly techniques
- comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, R&D setting
- experience of prototype device assembly
- taking ownership of realising results
- experience in using various test equipment, such as multi-meters etc
- proficient in the use of general Technician’s hand tools
- hand soldering, crimping and wiring techniques
