ambulance care assistant
Responsibility
- patient’s medical conditions range from Renal dialysis, Spinal injuries and EOL journeys
- this role can be psychically demanding and will require manual handling skills
- acute Ambulance and Medical Services are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Patient Transport Team. We are looking for staff on a Part time and Full basis working from our base in Milton Keynes
- you will be part of a double crew initially, transferring patients from their home, to places of care and Hospital outpatient’s appointments
Requirements
- full training will be provided for each candidate
- be eligible to work in the UK
- kind, Patient, and Caring qualities are essential to meet our core values
- have good written and verbal skills
- provide 2 references. Due to our safer recruitment policy one reference MUST be from last employer
- vaccination record and completion of occupational health form
- preferred candidates of FREC 3 or equivalent with more than 12 months left however full training will be given so this is not a mandatory requirement to meet the person spec
- hold a full UK manual driver’s license with no more than 3 penalty points and a minimum of 2 years driving and be over the age of 21
