Responsibility
- to provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery
- vicky Mayhew Baby Room Leader in first instance then Kim Mooney and Karen McPhee; Deputy Manager/Nursery Manager
- read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role as deemed appropriate by the Manager
- build and maintain strong partnerships with parents
- work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure that the nursery’s philosophy is fulfilled
- to be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parent evenings, etc
- to ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
- we are based close to Leeds & Bradford Airport and we need a new team member or two part timers to work with our under 2's - We would love someone who is confident, calm, patient, playful, enthusiastic and enjoys being outdoors
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent
- valid paediatric first aid qualification is desirable but not essential
- basic food hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential
- safeguarding/child protection training is desirable but not essential
- nursery: 2 years
