Responsibility
- we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator/Credit Controller to join our business for a 4 month temporary contract
- we are located in the centre of Harrow, just a few minutes from Harrow on the Hill station

- organise and maintain legal files and documents
- carry out general clerical duties such as responding to emails and emailing information to clients and third parties

- take instructions from clients regarding enforcement and action accordingly
- actively chasing our clients for payment of overdue invoices via telephone and email
- keep the client appraised of all case updates
- updating credit control notes within our accounts system
- we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our growing team. We are located in the centre of Harrow, just a few minutes from Harrow on the Hill station
- contact defendents via telephone and written communications to address queries and failed payment arrangements in an appropriate and timely manner
- scanning and photocopying documents
- uploading letters to the Mail House and preparing other outbound mail
- keep accurate records of conversations and attach documentation to the case management system
- opening and distributing company post
- ensuring notes are accurately updated in the database
- posting daily transaction
- any other duties as required by Management
- form and develop professional relationships with clients to include regular verbal and written communications, via telephone, email, virtual meetings, and face-to-face meetings, when required
- general administration duties, such as but not limited to, loading new debt referrals, sending out copy invoices, updating accounts / spreadsheets, archiving files and updating gone away mail
Requirements
- experience in an administrative role
- excellent MS Office skills
- excellent typing speed

- minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally experience dealing with meticulous data entry and credit control
- associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- strong numeracy skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal role - knowledge of the legal process
- strong communication skills and able to communicate professionally, effectively and clearly
- knowledge of collections industry, including TCF, FCA guidelines, would be advantageous
- self-motivated with the ability to work on their own initiative
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- excellent attention to detail is a must
- an understanding of TCF and FCA would be advantageous
- credit control: 2 years
- data entry: 2 years
- data entry / admin: 2 years
- attention to detail is a must
- minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally experience dealing with volume data entry and ensuring pinpoint accuracy
