Responsibility
- recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff across the company
- oversees the daily workflow of the department
- provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
- handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
- performs other duties as assigned
- develop the HR team to increase competencies as HR Business Partners
- to deputize for the Directors on HR matters where required
Requirements
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrable experience in working with and influencing boards
- experience working with smaller enterprises and owner-managed companies
- experience in M&A situations is desirable but not essential
- excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
