Responsibility

  • maintenance and repairs of fire and security equipment at client’s properties
  • the ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire engineering and fire extinguishers industry
  • servicing and installation of fire extinguishers
  • provide advice on fire safety issues
  • reporting on faults and providing system health checks at client’s properties
  • complete reports including using the equipment provided
  • liaise and co-operate with administrators to ensure the needs of our customers are met
  • the fire alarm and fire extinguisher engineer will be responsible for the servicing, maintaining and small repairs of fire and life safety systems

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • 3 -5 years of experience in fire engineering or related field
  • valid Driver's License
  • must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • experience with power tools
  • experience with hand tools
  • knowledge of BS5839 and other fire alarm regulations
  • knowledge of hand tools safety practices
  • ability to read electrical schematics
