Responsibility
- overseeing bokkeeping for clients
- prepare and conduct management accounts for clients
- prepare and submit year end accounts for clients
- prepare and review financial statements
- handle all accounting issues for your clientele
- dealing with HMRC and Companies House Correspondence
- prepare and submit self-assessment tax returns
- be a leader and mentor to junior members of the accounting department
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- strong knowledge of UK Accounting and Tax
- knowledge of software's such as QuickBooks Online, Xero and Tax Calc
- ability to build lasting relationships with clients
- confident and polite telephone manner
- ability to prioritise and manage own workload and work to strict deadlines
- you will be at least AAT Level 3 qualified or a similar qualification
- accounting: 1 year
- competitive salary between £28,000 - £35,000 offered for this role
