Responsibility

  • the successful candidate will help support the growing client base providing advice and services
  • preparation of client management accounts, VAT returns for senior manager review
  • preparation of annual accounts and tax returns for senior management review
  • dealing with client queries via Zoom, Teams, telephone and email
  • we are looking to recruit a part-time accountant for small non profit accountancy practice based in Gateshead but working across the whole of the UK
  • we are a fast-growing, tech savvy, fully digital accountancy firm and are on the lookout for someone who is ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified or qualified by experience to join the business
  • managing a select portfolio of clients

Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within practice to include charity and community interest companies/companies limited by guarantee
  • proficient in the use of accounting software particularly Xero, Quick Books and Dext
  • A can do attitude to work with the ability to be flexible in your approach
  • accounting for non profits: 2 years
