Responsibility
- we are looking for a dynamic and proactive Semi Senior Accountant to join our growing practice
- managing portfolio of small business clients
- liaising with a high number of clients on a regular basis
- preparing end-to-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and private limited companies, including tax computations
- bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, purchase and sales invoicing, prepayments and accruals, fixed asset register etc for a number of clients
- preparing VAT returns and management accounts
- preparing Corporate and Personal tax returns

Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- part qualified ACCA/ACA or AAT qualified or qualified by experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice at this level
- knowledge of software used in practice and the processes required for accounting, tax, payroll, VAT, bookkeeping
- ability to solve problems, take responsibility and start adding value to the team immediately
- excellent communication skills over email, telephone and face to face
- able to work independently
- good technical knowledge and ability and experience to handle/research tax and accounting issues
- passionate about client service
