- the Financial Director role is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing financial leadership, maximizing value creation, ensuring legal compliance, and managing risks to the business
- this role will play a major part in the next phase of the company’s global growth plans, providing sound financial advice and strategic analysis of major opportunities
- manage company financial policies and where necessary, provide updates to the Board and management team
- oversight of the Annual Budget and monthly reporting/forecasting
- ensure that R&D Tax Claim /Patent Box Claims are accurately processed in a timely manner
- produce monthly Board packs and distribute
- ensure that suppliers are managed effectively so as not to impact upon the operation of the business
- work alongside the Managing Director and relevant senior management team members on contract renewals and pricing proposals for new business
Requirements
- financial Control
- be responsible for the Company’s financial strategy, optimising performance to ensure alignment with growth plans
- work closely with the management team to ensure close management and control of Working Capital
- ensure that internal processes and controls are appropriate for the business and adhered to
- manage CAPEX approval processes and provide input to costings and pricing
- ensure that all accounting is in line with UK accounting standards and other jurisdictions as appropriate
