Responsibility
- lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of safeguarding policies and procedures in the organization
- provide training and support to all staff on safeguarding policies and procedures
- to demonstrate values in everything you do in the work environment
- develop and implement procedures for safeguarding referrals and investigations
- delivery of effective health care within the organisation
- ensure that all safeguarding referrals are handled effectively, confidentially, and in a timely manner
- to Perform and monitor comprehensive assessments of clients/service user needs
- conduct risk assessments and put in place risk management plans where necessary
Requirements
- NMC pin - Necessary
- bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, nursing, or psychology
- minimum of 5 years' experience in a safeguarding role
- knowledge and understanding of current safeguarding legislation and policy
- strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
