Working hours

Responsibility
- monitor production environments and proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues
- manage resources effectively, including capacity planning, load balancing, and optimising system utilisation
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain reporting boards for tracking system health, performance metrics, and incident management
- daily monitoring, troubleshooting and upkeep all services to ensure maximum availability
- take part in a rotating on-call schedule
- troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly to minimise downtime and impact on end-users
- build, install, configure, and maintain systems in both physical and virtual environments
- ensure compliance with best practices for security, scalability, and reliability
Requirements
- solid experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role
- proficiency in on-prem server management and monitoring tools
- familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- working knowledge of Windows Server administration, nice to have
- familiarity with databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
