Responsibility
prepare high level weekly profit & loss reports by venue and consolidated
maintain and manage bank accounts including high volume daily bank receipt reconciliations
run limited weekly, biweekly and monthly payrolls reviewing, including reconciling monthly P32s, remitting PAYE and pension contributions
prepare VAT returns
process and control accounts payable ledger including weekly payment runs
in conjunction with the senior management team, continuously look for operational, commercial and managerial process improvements
ad hoc duties as and when required
Requirements
able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
strong accounting acumen coupled with excellent communication skills – allowing effectively interacting with people at all levels of the business
bookkeeping: 3 years
A proven track record working within an owner managed, entrepreneurial business environment – some experience gained in a multi site or small group structure would also be beneficial
