Responsibility
- perform end of tenancy redecoration work including painting, wallpapering, and other decorative finishes
- we are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team
- prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching holes, and ensuring a smooth and clean surface
- apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces according to client specifications
- select and mix paints to achieve desired colors and textures
- utilize various painting techniques, such as brush, roller, and spray, to achieve professional results
- ensure proper protection of furniture, floors, and fixtures during painting and decoration tasks
- collaborate with the project team to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, with a focus on end of tenancy redecoration work
- solid knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and equipment
- strong attention to detail and a keen eye for color and design
- ability to work independently and as part of a team, efficiently managing time and prioritising tasks
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for commuting to different job sites
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required to meet project deadlines
