Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- lead regular meetings and training including Room Leader Meetings, Team Meetings and full Staff meetings
- full staff meetings must take place at least every quarter and have a full written agenda and minutes to accompany
- to recognise and reward Outstanding practice within the nursery
- promote equality and diversity within the nursery, challenging any behaviour which does not support Inclusive Practice and Equal Opportunities Policy
- effective forward planning to maintain and grow occupancy levels and manage waiting lists effectively
- strategic planning for nursery development, including setting a marketing plan and quality improvement plan is executed
- there is an effective tool used to evaluate your progress e.g. Action planning
- ensure all correspondence is dealt with promptly and professionally within a reasonable time frame
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- be proactive in forecasting future occupancy levels, staff retention and make appropriate decisions in relation to staffing
- ensure classrooms are in ratio and Deputy throughout the day from 7.30am to 6.30pm
- to reinforce Company policy and procedures at all times and deal with any breaches swiftly and in an appropriate manner
- lead on safer recruitment and ensure Company policies are followed throughout the recruitment process
- ensure that mandatory training is up-to-date for all employees
- source training to meet the needs of the team that have been identified by the Nursery Management Team or through supervisions
- mentor and lead the whole Nursery Team and offer support and guidance as required
