Responsibility

• complete all daily vehicle checks and fill out Vehicle Defect Book at the start, and end, of any shift
• where appropriate, ensure all CCTV cameras are working and, where fitted, ensure inward-facing cameras face the driver
• report all defects, including tyre issues, to the Transport Manager promptly

• complete all allocated work within the working day
• ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and submitted in a timely manner
• as a brand representative of the Company, always behave in a polite and professional manner
• grease fifth wheel plate regularly
• fill vehicles with fuel and AdBlue if applicable on return to yard at end of the day
• complete expense claims and timesheet by the Monday following any working week
• 21. The above list is not exhaustive, and the post holder may occasionally be required to undertake other tasks as necessary to meet the needs of the company
• 17. Work from other depots within the group and operate other vehicles when required
• 20. Comply with all Health, Safety, HR and Environmental policies and procedures

• 13. Plan routes to meet delivery schedules and maximise fuel efficiency, wear and tear, and vehicle quality

Requirements

• have valid Qualifications and licensing necessary
• fitness to drive
• ability or eligibility to work
