Responsibility
- collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies
- identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
- monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
- maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely manner
- stay updated on industry developments and best practices in procurement
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
- strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
- proficiency in using Oracle EBS or similar procurement software
- excellent negotiation and communication skills
- familiarity with AS400 or other inventory management systems is a plus
- detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
