Responsibility
- an opportunity for young, enthusiastic chef role has opened up at our small, Award winning, independent, Sicilian tapas bar
- in this role you will be working closely with the Head chef and other team members
- must have a passion for working, preparing and cooking fresh food with fresh ingredients
- this fast paced environment requires a person who will work closely in a team with 2 other chefs, under intense pressure for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation
- whilst being able to work in a team they should take their own initiative, be passionate , determined, hard working and creative
- ideal candidate will have previous experience of cooking with fresh food and managing the kitchen in the absense of the head chef
- ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
- works with head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
