Responsibility
- program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality components to precise specifications
- read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production
- select appropriate cutting tools and materials for each job
- monitor production processes to ensure that they meet quality standards
- perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working order
- troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and production processes
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- experience in operating CNC lathes ideally Mazak or Hurco
- strong knowledge of CNC programming and operating procedures
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- excellent problem-solving skills
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
