Responsibility
- maintain and monitor cell cultures, including periodic analytical testing
- prepare filtrate cell culture media
- quality control of cell culture media
- act as both checker and operator in all manufacturing processes
- complete manufacturing batch records and related documentation
- ensure that production runs are completed to agreed timelines
- assist in the manufacture of products, including tissue manufacture, cell culture media formulation & dispensing, product assembly & labelling, following Standard Operating Procedures , and according to the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice and the Quality Management System
- ensuring that any likely delays or issues with a given activity are communicated to the appropriate Team Lead on time
Requirements
- essential
- two years of experience with mammalian cell culture & aseptic technique
- excellent calculation skills
- experience with common cell-based and analytical assays
- knowledge in operating general lab equipment
- independent, well-organised, and proactive work style
- good problem-solving abilities
