Responsibility
- assist all day to day operations of the home
- liaising with other professionals as part of the wider team to ensure that they achieve their aspirations and full potential
- deputising for the Manager as and when required
- monitor and evaluate clear child protection procedures within the home, in line with the Protection of Children Act and Company Policies
- assist with staff development, training and preparing of team’s rotas
- actively promote and support safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace
- ensure full compliance with all regulatory bodies, including Ofsted, Fire Authority, Health and Safety Executive and Environmental Health
- take responsibility of leading shifts under the direction of the Manager
