audit manager
Responsibility
- creating a collaborative and supporting team spirit while overseeing the quality of outcomes
- reporting project progress to the Executive team and the Audit committee
- guiding, coaching and reviewing the work of the team throughout the audit engagement
- influencing the business by agreeing actions and delivering the final audit report, with support from the Senior Manager, when needed
- contributing to the Group Audit global team through sharing own technical knowledge and engaging in our continuous training program
- developing own knowledge and business awareness and building strong business relationships Keeping the business safe by leading the execution of a portfolio of audit engagements end-to-end, including global audits across different regions with the support of the Senior Manager
- liaising with the external auditors to review the existing structure of the UK ICFR framework and identifying areas of improvement at a transactional level
- working closely with Control and Process Owners within Finance and the wider UK Business to enhance existing controls and create new controls to ensure a controls reliance audit approach can be used for the UK business
