Responsibility

  • line management of a QA team, including managing team and individual workloads and setting appropriate deadlines
  • provide oversight and direction for other QA Engineers within the team, setting team and individual goals
  • ability to feedback to individuals on their performance and work with individuals to improve performance
  • work with the team to develop appropriate test strategies, plans and execution
  • perform complex test cases and produce concise, easy to read documentation
  • prioritise and follow through with resolutions to customer issues, providing feedback as required
  • ability to reverse engineer complex issues into clearly defined reports
  • understand the quality requirements of building, packaging, and deploying code

Requirements

  • working knowledge of test management tools
  • ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • proven analytical and problem-solving skills
