Responsibility
- producing a variety of high quality components in a production environment
- maintain fabricating equipment
- operate sanders, grinders, saws and drill presses to create electric vehicle parts
- adapt machines to craft new parts
- identify tools and methods needed to construct and assemble components
- evaluate equipment performance and implement necessary modifications
- assembling electric vehicle conversion kits
Requirements
- extensive Tig and Mig welding experience
- you should have a passion for cars and be willing to expand knowledge and skills in other areas
- use of hand held equipment used in welding and metal fabrication including welding plants, grinders, drills will be required
- previous experience in a medium to heavy engineering environment is preferred, although part or semi-skilled may be considered depending on experience
- five years experience in Fabrication is preferred, although less may be considered depending on skillset
- A general understanding of construction tasks and industrial processes
- must be based in UK and have full visa
- the ability to read fabrication drawings and follow detailed specification instructions, along with a good mathematical ability and confidence in working with angles and measuring, is essential
